Black Rhino Recycling, Inc. is an international supplier of green building materials specializing in non-wood dimensional recycled plastic lumber, timbers, planking, and decking. Founded in 1991, Black Rhino was on the leading edge of the green building movement, supplying high-quality, high-performance non-wood building materials.
Our primary customer base is comprised of federal entities such as the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, National Park Service, U.S. Fish & Wildlife, Forest Service, and Department of Homeland Security.
We offer recycled plastic lumber and innovative products such as recycled plastic chocks, dunnage, and outdoor furniture. We also provide materials recommendations for exterior construction projects such as docks, platforms, and pedestrian bridges and walkways. We offer a variety of technologies that can be incorporated into projects traditionally constructed with exterior grade chemically treated lumber. Projects built with non-wood lumber alternatives will not leach hazardous chemicals.
Building green has both short-term and long-term benefits. These products require minimal maintenance and limited reconstruction by future project users.
